Dr. Mat Lentine is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College, where he received his Doctor Chiropractic degree and Masters of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology from Rutgers University, where he teaches anatomy as a full-time professor for the Kinesiology & Health department.
Dr. Lentine has advanced training in nutrition, muscle strengthening/ rehab techniques, and multiple myofascial and soft tissue therapies, including Graston® and Active Release Techniques®. This allows him to use an integrative and comprehensive approach to help patients achieve their health and performance goals.
Dr Lentine has extensive experience in both sports and non-sports related injuries as well as providing treatments to optimize health. As a former collegiate distance runner, tri-athlete and outdoorsman, he understands the capabilities of a healthy body and what is necessary for a healthy lifestyle. Prior to joining Peak Medical, he worked in and managed the rehab department of an integrated medical facility and believes the integration of a variety of therapies can help patients get better faster and stay better longer.
